This session will explore how academic research can shape and inform public policy in Kerala. It will be focused on the critical role that universities in Kerala could play in generating evidence-based insights that are valuable for policymakers. It will highlight successful case studies that could address sectors such as education, healthcare, agriculture, environmental conservation, and socio-economic development. Discussions will focus on strategies to strengthen the link between academic research and policymaking through effective communication of research findings to policymakers by creating platforms for regular dialogue.
