Mousumi Mondal joined Drugs for Neglected Diseases Initiative (DNDi) team in July 2018 and is currently leading the Business Development and Alliance activities in South Asia. Mousumi has over two decades of cumulative experience in research and international partnership building in the area of biomedical research.
Prior joining to DNDi, Mousumi worked extensively within the life sciences and research ecosystem in India, building productive relationships across academia, biotech, pharma, and funding agencies. Mousumi is a Cell Biologist by training. She earned her PhD from Jadavpur University, Kolkata and received postdoctoral research training at Weill Cornell Medicine (the medical college of Cornell University), New York.
