Profile

Prof Neeta Inamdar is presently working as a Research Professor at the Symbiosis International (Deemed University) and is helping build the Symbiosis Centre for Higher Education Research and Policy Advocacy (SCHERPA). She was the Head of the Manipal Centre for European Studies (MCES), MAHE, Manipal from 2009 until July 2024 when she opted for a one-year sabbatical.

She leads a team of research scholars with a multidisciplinary approach to education policies and practices with an emphasis on international education. She is a Jean Monnet Chair professor, awarded with many projects by the EU including those on Bologna Process and Harmonization and Internationalization of Higher Education, Content and Language Integrated Learning and others. She has co-edited three books: Internationalization of Higher Education: The Dynamics of Educational Ecology (2019); Contours of India-EU Engagements: Multiplicity of Experiences (2021) and Reimagining Border in Cross-border Education (2023).
