Ravin Nair is the Managing Director of QS I-GAUGE, an Indian subsidiary of UK’s QS Quacquarelli Symonds, which focuses on rating Indian educational institutions. In this pivotal role, Ravin has spearheaded collaborations with academic institutions across India, raising awareness of the critical role of quality in education and guiding institutions towards excellence.
Under his leadership, QS I-GAUGE has expanded its reach to K-12 and higher education institutions, becoming a trusted partner to educators and learners alike. Through the QS I-GAUGE rating system, which has been applied to over 350 institutions, Ravin has supported institutions in enhancing the quality and competitiveness of Indian education.
Ravin’s guiding principle, “Empower institutions and enable learners,” reflects his commitment to delivering value to Indian students and fostering a learner-centric approach in institutions. By collaborating with key stakeholders, he continues to support in shaping a more resilient education sector, ensuring institutions are equipped to meet national and global challenges.
An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM Calcutta), Ravin has over two decades of corporate experience with leading multinational corporations.
